Watch the Bahrain Premier League

Opening night of the Nasser Bin Hamad Premier League, filmed by the Bahrain Football Association. Mascots on the pitch, the teams lining up and a full stand behind them — this is what a Bahraini league matchday looks like before a ball is kicked.

Brilliant atmosphere from the first whistle. The crowd never stopped singing and the football was sharper than I expected. Booking took under a minute and the ticket scanned straight off my phone.

Went with two mates and we all agreed it was worth every fils. Clear view from our seats, easy to find our block, and the queue moved fast once the gates opened.

Took the kids and they loved every minute. Plenty of families around us, friendly stewards, and we were in our seats with time to spare before kick-off.
Plan Your Visit

The event venues vary. To find out the venue and how to get there, please check the event description.

Your ticket: Your mobile ticket is all you need — nothing to print. Keep it ready before you reach the gate.

Valid photo ID: On entry you must show an original national ID, driving licence or passport, with a name matching the debit or credit card used for the purchase.

The card you paid with: Bring it along, because the name on it has to match your ID at the gate.

Cash or card: Handy for refreshments and merchandise around the ground.

Something light to wear: Gates open at 17:00 and kick-off is at 19:00, so it is still warm early on and cools down as the match goes on.

Tickets bought outside Platinumlist: Resale is permitted on Platinumlist platforms only. A ticket bought through any other reseller is invalid and entry will be refused.

Sharing or swapping tickets: One ticket admits one person. Exchanging seats, tickets or categories is not allowed, and tickets are non-transferable.

Disruptive behaviour: Guests are expected to behave respectfully towards the players, staff and other attendees. Disruptive or offensive behaviour means immediate removal without a refund.

Leaving and coming back: There is no re-entry once you leave the stadium, and the organiser can refuse entry after the match has started.

Stadium security items: Standard stadium security applies at the gate — weapons, flares, fireworks, drones and professional recording equipment are not permitted. Check with the organiser before travelling if you are unsure about an item.

The dress code is set by the event organiser and it is the ticket holder's responsibility to follow it. Dress in line with Bahraini public-decency norms: modest, non-transparent clothing that is not excessively revealing.

Beyond that, keep it comfortable. It is an open-air stadium in late August, so light clothing and shoes you can stand and walk in are the sensible call. Club colours are welcome.

No age restriction, ensuring that it is inclusive and welcoming to attendees of all ages.
